Chiropractic Analysis and Adjustments
All chiropractic adjustments have two parts:
1. Spinal analysis to determine the problem area. 2. An attempt at correction.
There are many different ways of doing a chiropractic adjustment and if you go to ten different chiropractors they will probably do it ten different ways. Some chiropractors use their hands, some use various types of instruments. But no matter how they do it there are always two parts, analysis and correction. If someone tries to correct or "pop" your spine without analysis first, that is not chiropractic.
Computer Aided Spinal Analysis
We can also use the computer to help with the correction. When the spine is tested, the instrument gathers information about how best to make a correction. Using the instrument a quick, painless adjustment can then be given. Computer aided adjustments are low force and don't require the spine to be twisted or popped, for this reason they are exceptionally safe and are approved for senior citizens, disc problems and children.
Computer Aided Spinal Analysis and Adjustment takes only a few minutes and can leave you feeling refreshed and much looser.
A new patient should plan to spend about one hour for the initial visit. The initial visit consists of an interview with Dr. Baritz to discuss your problem, three types of spinal analysis including Computer Aided Spinal Analysis, a physical exam and x-rays as needed.
